Merry Christmas

Hey everyone, just wanted to wish the 5 people who actually read this a Merry Christmas.

As for me, mine was nice, quiet.  Got a few books so I’ll be reading lots for the next few weeks.  Poker is still going strong, up to 60 bucks now, I’m playing….OK I guess.  I’ve made a couple of crucial mistakes in cash games that have cost me a couple of bucks.  Not really happy about that, but all I can do is change my actions in the future.  Can’t worry bout the past, leads to tilt.  I hate tilt, it costs money.  Thank god for the play money tables.  There you can dick around, blow off some steam.

Anyway, hope everyone is having as great an Xmas as I am, going to go stuff my face with turkey now.  Mmmmmmmmm.  Talk to you people later.

Holy Crap I’m Lazy

Well, it’s been approximately 9 months since I was last here blogging.  I was pregnant.  It happens, childbirth was excruciating.  I’m happy to report that I have given birth to a 82% average at college.  I’m so proud.  It’s such a beautiful baby…..or number, one of the two.  Anyway, long story short, I’m on Christmas break (or for all you non-christians….which I suppose includes me, Holidays) and I’m kind of bored so I felt like blogging a bit.  Forgot how fun it is.

Alright, so I guess I’ll update on what’s been going on in my life these days.  In school, doing well (hence me bragging about the 82% average).  Poker has been, rough.  I don’t have any money to really invest in it, so right now I’m challenging myself to turn the 10 dollars I can afford to deposit every once in a while into a legitimate bankroll.  So far I’m up to around 41 bucks, not too shabby, but it sucks playing stupid low stakes games (.01/.02 cent blinds) because A. you can’t win much and B. everyone SUCKS, which logically would mean that it’s easier to win, which I suppose it is, however bad beats happen with increased regularity, which leads to me throwing things and swearing.  Fun times.  Oh well, it’s entertainment.

Hmmm, what else should I chat about?  Christmas this year is shaping up to be very mundane, which is no surprise really seeing as the entire world has no money.  Is everyone out there broke?  I know I am….in fact I’m beyond broke, I’m in more debt than I care to admit.  On the bright side though, I don’t have to pay any of it back until I’m finished school, so the next 7 years shouldn’t be too bad.  Free money with no interest is nice…..for now.  Why can’t school be free in Canada like it is in France and Sweden?  Let’s all pay more taxes so that kids can go to university for free.  It’ll work out in the long run, trust me.  The fact that the people paying the majority of the taxes will not be around to see it work out does not really matter to me.  Maybe that ideal will change when I get older and have money.  I probably won’t make it that far though seeing as the first time I get 10g all at once I plan on buying a motorcycle that can do 0-60mph in 2.7 seconds.  Yea, I’m crazy.  It happens.
